"I WANT TO BURN HIM!"

"What, why?"

"He fucking broke my heart, Aria! He lied! Then he went off and shamelessly cheated on me like the egoistic immortal he is!"

"Oh sweetie, you can't burn him. Apollo isn't flammable - trust me, I've tried."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Aria is the servant of the Greek god of the sun... and a whole load of other things too bothersome to name.
A hate-hate relationship full of insults, constant bickering on Mount Olympus and pranks between the two just happens to take a U-turn two and a half thousand years later and they fall for each other.
But it could be too late by then.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I recommend that you read this book AFTER reading the original book. To all the people that ALREADY HAVE read the original book - I have answered your pleas for an alternate ending. Except it's going to be cannon. 😁

1st Place in the Percy Jackson Wattys 2018 * '"So it's settled then." Zeus said, "In order to solidify our truce with Nyx Apollo will marry Nyx's demigod daughter Ariadne."' * Ariadne lived in hell. Not the figurative type of hell-she really lived in hell. She was born and raised in Tartarus, the home of monsters, by her godly mother Nyx. She never knew anything about her father other than the fact that he was a son of Athena, and he was dead. Ariadne always dreamed of the world. She had lived her life in darkness, never seeing the light of day. That is until she turned sixteen, and her mother made a deal with the Olympians. Nyx would side with them against Kronos if Ariadne married Apollo. Unable to see her mother's real motives behind the deal, Ariadne jumps at the chance to leave hell, and get away from her mother. But Olympus is in the middle of a war, and Ariadne had never been one to sit out of a fight. If the war wasn't enough, Ariadne finds herself falling in love with the last person she ever expected to fall for. She fell head over heels for Apollo. * Disclaimer: This story is based around the Percy Jackson, Heroes of Olympus and Trials of Apollo books. All rights go to Rick Riordan. All characters from the original Rick Riordan books belong to Rick Riordan. Characters such as Ariadne belong to me. Hades Legacy (Hades Series #3) by _caitlinemma

*to be edited: please excuse any continuity errors and / or mistakes in regards the writing quality of Hades* Ellie is just like every other normal eighteen year old girl in the world, except for one big reason. She's the daughter of Hades. And an immortal goddess in charge of managing suicide in the world. And she's been locked in the darkness of the Underworld for her entire life. So basically, her life couldn't get any more abnormal if she tried. Ellie longs to experience life like everybody else her age, but for as long as she can remember her parents haven't let her travel up to the surface, and she's been forced to imagine the upper world through the stories her mother told and the books she read. Until, one day, her parents finally give in and let her go up to the surface to see the world through her own eyes, and her world explodes with colour. Then, just when she thinks her life couldn't get more exciting, she stumbles across a very particular green-eyed god; one who throws her perfectly organised world into complete chaos and shows her what it means to live in the light. But what Ellie doesn't know, is that the Fates have a prophecy for her. A prophecy that she couldn't escape if she tried. A prophecy that has tangled it's gnarled fingers into the threads of her life, and may just throw the world into the darkness Ellie has spent her whole life trying to escape. "He's the son of Aphrodite, she's the daughter of Hades. He's light, she's the oncoming darkness. He advocates for love, she's the embodiment of death. What could possibly go wrong?" I could give you a sob story about how tough Cressida Lynn's life has been, but you're not here for that. You're not here to hear about how terrible her mother treated her and how she only got her first birthday present at age nine or how no one outside her cabin liked her. No. You're here to hear about how her life changed the summer of her 12th birthday. The summer when Poseidon's son came crashing through the camp borders after he'd killed the Minotaur. You're here to hear about how they found the Lightning Thief. You're here to hear about how they ventured through the Sea of Monsters. You're here to hear about how they withstood the Titan's Curse. You're here to hear about how they fought in the Battle of the Labyrinth. You're here to hear about how they defended the Last Olympian. However, I must warn you that this journey is not for the faint-hearted for each quest is more treacherous than the last. And it is most certainly not for mortals. But, should you find yourself feeling brave, should you be a demigod in a past life, a present life or a future one, then I invite you to join me on this adventure. #1 in hades #1 in greekgodsandgoddesses #1 in lukecastellan #1 in titanwar #1 in dionysus #1 in pjofandom #4 in zeus #4 in seaofmonsters #9 in kronos #10 in labyrinth #12 in percyjacksonandtheolympians #17 in greekmythology #23 in annabethchase #36 in poseidon (Lightning Thief - Last Olympian) (Disclaimer: All rights go to the legendary Rick Riordan, I only own Cressida and any original scenes and dialogue I've written.) Will they be able to survive it all, or will they simply become another Greek Tragedy? Or when, Icarus falls in love with the Sun, for the final time. *✧・゚: *✧・゚: Percy Jackson x FemOC (The Lighting Thief - The Last Olympian) (Book 1 of 3 in the Divine Series) Started: 12/24/2023 Ended: In Progress *✧・゚: *✧・゚: Icaria Kane's body was exhausted. She had pushed herself past her breaking point, and still continued on as if nothing was wrong. The demigod knew if she allowed herself time to take even a moment, her soul would physically crack in two. Now was not the time for weakness, if anything, she had to be stronger. She knew the other girls would mumble about her, but Icaria wouldn't listen to them. She refused to watch someone she loved fall at the hands of Thanatos again. If need be, she would offer herself to him in place. Yet, there was someone who noticed the young girl breaking apart. She could see the bags grow darker, and watched as Icaria began to eat less and less. It was the same someone who had saved Icaria all those years ago. And the goddess refused to watch that someone suffer any longer. The goddess, Artemis, stepped out of her tent in the early morning light. All of her girls were getting rest, taking the opportunity to relax with the very few days of peace they had left. All except one. In the distance, the goddess could hear the distinct sound of metal striking against wood. She took quiet steps, and watched Icaria Kane from a distance. The girl breathed heavily, her body slumped from exhaustion. "Icaria?" Artemis asked, stepping through the early morning fog. "Why do you cry?" The demigods body tightened, urging the tears to stop falling. She turned her body away from her goddess, clutching Hearth in her hands.
