Kennedy King always knew that she would bring trouble, ever since the first day someone actually pointed and stared at her violet eyes.  She just didn’t expect the trouble to come so soon.  When the group who supposedly killed Kennedy’s parents chooses a new target, there’s no surprise that Kay is at the very top of their most wanted list.  With the help of her father’s best friend, Kennedy comes up with the supposedly “ingenious” plan to let them capture her, only so she can find out their secrets.  All goes well until a mysterious boy from the “clan” tries to convince Kennedy that the murderers aren’t where she thinks.  The thing is, she never told him why she was there.  Kay soon realizes that she must take every precaution possible not to let herself trust this boy, but that’s difficult when she’ll believe absolutely anything to find the truth.

With her new life, to protect the people she loves or anybody for that matter, she completely shuts them away so when ever the gang does find her, they don't use anyone against her. A new boy comes into the city, accepted to a talented school, she meets him and already has him messing with her, she tried her best to push him away but he just bounces back. with him in the way, she just cant protect anyone... can she make him leave her alone? will the talking or flirting with her stop? or will she be forced back into the gang no matter what? Note that there is a few error mistakes that I don't honestly have the time to correct. Just pretend they are not there! Thank you!

Summer Jacobs knew full well about her town’s tradition. Every year at the end of the summer, a party would be held on school grounds without the knowledge of the parents or the teachers. His theory was being so close to death should definitely loosen her up, and by ‘loosen up’ he definitely meant ‘get naked.’ Along with his friends who between them had the IQ of a baby tree stump, an outcast who probably still had Spiderman bed sheets and the cheerleaders who were more worried about all the blood staining their new white jeans, they had to somehow make it out of there alive.
