Alyx was a 16 year old male, and his 'state', if that's what you wanna call a huge, walled town, was preparing for something.
Something huge. A scientist with unknown files had made a syrum to turn a human into an immortal god.
But it went backwards instead.
It turned people into various shaped and sized zombie-like creatures.
Which fed on humans.
And Alyx had been training in the military, specifically made for fighting those things.
After a year or so, he made it to the Military Scouts, which would exit the wall on mission kinda things.
And risk death.
The creatures ranged from 5 meters tall to around 40 meters tall.
But after a month of priests continuing to admire how the wall would always protect them...
It stopped protecting them.

You become known as "Shade", a mysterious cloaked criminal known for your stealth and strength. You took pride in your reputation, and the best part was, nobody knew anything about you. This is the first time I've written a story like this, however I feel that I should explain some plot points since I did try to stick as close to the anime canon as possible but there are a few things I'd like to clear up first.
