"(Y/n)~ it's been a long time, I was afraid you wouldn't show up."

"Save it Hisoka, I'm not here for you." You signed rolling your eyes and crossing your arms.

"My, my, there's no need to be so worked up my dear, you're so cute when you get all huffy while signing."

It was the 287th annual hunter exam and you were here for one reason and one reason only, to get your license. (Y/n) Homura was your name but, your last name was from your adoptive parents. In reality you were from the infamous Kurta clan that had been slaughtered by The Phantom Troupe, stealing the beautiful scarlet eyes of your loved ones and leaving you as the supposed sole survivor of the clan. But is that really true?

(I was inspired by another book called Vermilion tears while I was looking for how I wanted the reader to be motivated to go to the hunter exam. Otherwise this storyline and reader's character along with how the reader will interact with other characters is crafted all on my own and I wouldn't want to take someone else's hard work)
