Transferred for misconduct from London in a private school in the outskirts of Milan for his father's order, he looks like an alien at a country fair: him, conscious of his superiority but disoriented, and the others, especially the fairer sex, staring at him open mouth. During his exile he's entrusted to Anna, his new classmate; the hope is that she could help him to recover at school, but not only this. Anna is a young wounded angel. She's an expert on battles against monsters, she identifies Tom's one and in the silence of a discreet friendship she takes care of his weaknesses until healing him. He's impressed, also grateful, and wants to return the favour, but to help her is much more difficult. Very different Annie and Tom's worlds, but equally troubled by challenges worth a lifetime.
