Romance
If this were a clichè love story, Sam's argument with her best friend (who's a guy) would be unimportant, and they would of made up ages ago. He wouldn't have to work for her forgiveness, it'd just happen. They'd have been in love forever, and only just realized. But this isn't that story. Sam can't even look him in the eye after the incident, let alone forgive him. This isn't a clichè love story. This is Sam's love story, and she's just not good enough for a true clichè.

*Unedited* "What's so hard about just listening to what I have to say?" I plead. "I know that you would definitely be my forever but now it seems to be all just a lie," he yells, tears beginning to fall. I bite my lip to contain mine because I know once the floodgates open, I'm a goner. "So I just need time to think because," his voice cracks on the rest of his words "because this hurts and it hurts so damn much." ----------------------------------- Callie is just your average teen struggling with more problems than she knows. Forming new friendships and bonds through her junior year of high school she begins to see light friends bring. Her friendship with her longtime best friend Sam will be put to the test. Will it prosper into something more or will it fail and become one more problem for her to deal with. Will the obstacles of time, loyalty, and patience get in the way?
