Yuuichirou's parents washed their hands of him when he was four years old. In the orphanage he was sent those though, he made a new family for himself. He made a best friend as well, Mikaela Hyakuya. But when the vampires initiated their attack a couple years later, their orphanage director was found dead, the children were massacred, and Mika was taken in by the Japanese Imperial Demon Army. All the while, Yuu was taken by the vampires who spread the virus. When Krul turned him, the dormant demonic DNA he was born with and the DNA of the seraph humans embedded in him during was activated in the process, and this seemed to make him all powerful, without a weakness in sight. But one day, after his motherly figure had fallen, he met the one person that could make him hesitate. But, he remained confused as to why as he had lost all memory of his old life, but Mika hadn't.
