Okay so hi! This is my first story. It's pretty basic. It's set in the maze. I changed a LOT from the original book, for example, everyone's already there, but it's pre-newticide attempt. Sara's purpose in life have never been clearer. Destiny tends to change without notice. Whipping life into a chaotic spiral and destroying peace and hope. Sometimes the only escape is to run and never look back. Like all the others, Sara is waking up in a box, the only thing she remember is her name, not where she is from or why she is here. She arrived at a place called the Glade, there lays in the middle of a maze. She finds out that she is the only girl in the Glade, she quickly fell in love with one of the Gladers name Newt. She finds out that she had been training to fight since she was a child. Because she is so good at fighting, she get the job as a runner and she is trying to find a way out of the maze. But every time she is in the maze, she needs to be fast, because the doors to the maze is closing at dark and they first open the next morning and she have heard that no one has survive a night in the maze, because some creatures live in the maze and they are only coming out when it is dark. After months in the Glade, and after watching many of her friends die in front of her, Sara is about to lose hope, but then a boy name Thomas come up from the box, and together with Minho they are trying to find a way out of the maze, but one of the boys in the Glade don't like they are trying to find a way out. They're trapped by a vast and ever-changing maze that threatens their lives with deadly biomechanical creatures known as Grievers. As Thomas adapts to life in the Glade, he becomes involved in unraveling the mystery of the Maze. Along the way, he uncovers fragments of memories and clues about his past, including his connection to a girl named Teresa, who arrives mysteriously in the Glade shortly after him. Conflict arises when the stability of the Glade is disrupted by attacks from Grievers and internal tensions among the boys, exacerbated by Thomas's emerging memories and his role in challenging the status quo. This adventure/love story will be split into different parts. It's the hunger games and maze runner combined! I've never had time to write a book and since I've been quarantined and stuff I figured it would be a good time to make one of my dreams come true! The majority of the quotes are from the movie. All of the characters belong to Ms. Collins. Maddie is the only character that is my original. All of her thoughts are also original.
