when toby smith meets the online persona, lupinslover, he absolutely loves her (platonically of course). he trusts her immediately, and begins to understand the term, platonic soulmates. toby valued her company so dearly, he couldn't help but introduce her to all of his other friends.
toby and tommy balance out each other quite perfectly; and they think of each other more like brothers rather then best friends. when tommy meets lupins, of course he's not shocked at them getting along; but it's how seamlessly the two bounce off each other that keeps him up. it was like the two just clicked!
but tommy is the last person on earth to believe in true love. sure, love exists, but it fades. and don't even get him started on "soulmates'. so hearing lupins gush, blush, and romanticize, his eyes practically roll into the back of his head.
but if soulmates aren't real, why do they think the same? and why are there so many little synchronicities between the two? it's like the ground underneath tommy is shaking him, trying to make him finally understand the obvious.
but will he be too late?

What if you start to remember, even though you aren't meant to. What if memories have a way of returning, and what if they should stay gone for your own good. Scattered across a vast, dangerous island, a few people wake up with no recollection of who they are or how they got there. Tommy spun around to find a gun to his head "T-Tubbo.... Tubbo" Tommy stared wide-eyed at the person he thought he once knew. "I'm sorry Tommy.." was the last thing he heard before the gun fired. The sound of the gun was overshadowed by the ear piercing noise of bones cracking. His vision flashed to pure white, as his head felt as if it was on fire. His mind blanked and all he could feel was the blood gushing from his skull, the wet liquid poured down his body like a waterfall. He couldn't scream or even move for that matter, the pain was excruciating and the sound of the bullet drilling through his head was unbearable. With his eyesight gone every sense he had was intensified immensely, He assumed he blacked out but the pain continued like he was in some paralyze- like state, suddenly everything went quiet. Tommy's vision faded to a dark crimson red and the pain switched off like a light bulb. OR Tubbo is a serial killer who suffers with Solipsism disorder, he's currently on the run from law enforcement when he meets Ranboo. To much relief Ranboo doesn't watch the news due to his own personal issues, so he has no idea who Tubbo is. Their friendship blossoms to what could be considered romantic feelings. What if Ranboo finds out? what'll happen then?
