"I killed him. I killed him in cold blood." I say sitting on the floor, in a puddle of tears. I dare myself to look up to him. I dare myself to care what he thinks of me, like this.
Weak.
He has a pained expression on his face. It's as if seeing me like this, makes him feel pain.
He tilts his head, after a few seconds and rocks back and forth on his heels. He does that when he's anxious. His hands that were in his pockets a second ago, are now shaking. I almost think he has an allergy to woman crying.
To me crying.
Then he bend down to my level, and rest one of his hands in his left thigh, and with the other hand, he reaches toward me.
I flinch, and he curses something under his breath. His face which was contorted into pain earlier, is now in a scowl.
I debate standing up, and getting away from him, but I just physically can't.
The he looks at the wall behind me, and takes a deep breath. When he looks back down at me, his eyes are a soft green color, and something inside me, feels safe.
His arm extends out to me, and his fingers gently glaze my jaw, and then they run up to my cheek bone, and back down to my jaw. He repeats this about three times, before he looks into my eyes.
"You have beutiful eyes. Dark brown, like trees of life." He says in a low, deep voice. His fingers move away from my face, and run down to my neck. He sways his fingers from side to side, and it feels marvelous.
But then his rings swipe across my neck, and the metal cuts me.
I can't be doing this. I can't be here. I just confessed my dirty secret to him. I should be going to tell my Grandmother, and getting a good lawyer, or better yet, killing him.
"You killed that man, Little Demon." He states.
"You killed him, and you enjoyed every second of it." He's just repeating what I said.
"And do you want to know why?" He asks me. I nod my head.
