Voices, Shashka, follows the coming-of-age of 17 year old Chané Himmel - narrator and protagonist - as she recalls what may well be the last days of her life.
    
    On Thursday, February 14th, a bomb destroys a children's hospital in London. A few hours later Chané is the most wanted person alive, believed to be the mastermind behind a global terror organisation. 
    
    On a quest that leads her headlong into an invisible war, Chané is lost in a world of revolution - where drones rule the skies, soldiers abduct children, politicians plot assassinations, and a transhuman seeks dominion.
