Princess Anne has gone her whole life thinking she is due to be the first queen to rule Canlyra without a king in her way, until her parents announce she is suddenly set to marry the unnervingly attractive and charming Prince of Otren, Christopher.
Prince Christopher and Anne quickly devise a plan, "royally fail as a couple so much, that even a blind person could see they would never work as King and Queen".
The betrothed couple must walk a fine line of convincing the royal court and their parents they are not right for each other and being a royal couple for the people, to not instil fear for their nation's future leaders and give the rebellion brewing amongst the seven lands, fuel to their fire that is a threat to the monarchy.
With royal dates specifically designed to make Princess Anne and Prince Christopher fall in love, expensive ball gowns at every life event no matter how small, engagement parties, wedding plans for a ceremony destined to fail, and a royal ball. "A Tangled Courtship" is a riveting tale that shows just how much two people can have in common when their freedom depends on them working together to destroy any chance of them being a couple.

Set in a dystopian future where humans are forced to return to their Victorian Era ways to stop carbon emissions from rising and all the technological advancements made in the past are now drowned in seawater.
