Amelia Bennett is the 14 year old older sister of Emily Bennett. After their mother died, Amelia takes on a mother role to Emily. When they are told that they need to go to America, where it's safer, Amelia becomes even more of a mother figure to Emily. She does her best to be strong and be there for Emily, even if she is suffering herself.
