After being forced to assassinate the king and queen of Usdean, Akira goes into hiding as an underground boxer for criminals, and five years later, she's ready to celebrate her 23rd birthday, pack her bags and leave the kingdom, hoping to redeem herself and her blood-stained hands. Manikarnika, the heir of Usdean, has been at war with her rivaling kingdom for five years, and their prince won't surrender until she accepts his marriage proposal. She won't accept of course, but when a fortune-teller shows her a vision of destruction, Darius and a mysterious artifact at the center, she has no choice but to rethink her decision and accept, hoping to find the chain before he does, and destroy it. There's just one problem, there's a girl in her way, and she may not be at all who she seems. And now, Mani must choose: her heart, or her duty.
