I was getting frustrated. This chick was driving me past my breaking point.

"Okay but like if your the GRIM REAPER can't you just like kill us and be done? Like, why take us ALL this way if we don't wanna go? Like seriously I think if I jumped of this ledge I would die and be done right?" She took a step toward the ledge and peered over.

I learned on my scythe.

"Oh sure darling. I'm only trying to protect you from the things that lie down there. I mean if you want to, jump. Go on. They'll only torture you till the end of forever. I mean right now your stuck between Death and Living. You'd be stuck in a Coma, half here half there, till you truly die again and we try this another time. But go ahead. Yeah. Jump."

"What?! Fine whatevs I'll do it." And then she flung her body over the edge. Fuck.

Basically y'know how when you die you go into a semi conscious dead where your brain continues to work for like 10 or more minutes? That's in your world. But on the journey to The Other Side it takes us about a month. The grim reaper has to escort you to The Other Side and has his scythe to help protect you from.... them. This is a normal day until Alec is assigned to 3 people who died that day. Cassandra 17,Sam 15, and Elise 5. But what happens if on the way to the Other Side he starts catching feelings?
