After Bellatrix and Skylar were defeated, everything got back to normal. At least that's what Hermione thought. She got a letter inviting her to Granger reunion, but she didn't care. She neglected it and continued with her life. When her now adult kids organised a Malfoy family reunion, she was thrilled. Some of them live so far away from home and she missed them. Imagine what happens when she bumps into her Granger family members who came to the reunion held at the same week at the same hotel as Malfoy reunion.
