Will Solace lives in a musical. Only, he's the only one that can hear the singing. Will has never wanted anything more than to shine in the spotlight until he meets him. Nico di Angelo, the boy of his dreams. But, there's something off about this boy. It may or may not have to do with those scars that he hides under his aviator jacket...
Nico di Angelo hates his life. All he wants is to get away from his abusive boyfriend. Finally, the opportunity arises. To escape the pain his beloved brings, he joins the upcoming play, where he meets "Golden Boy" Will Solace.

Three days in the infirmary. That's many how full days Nico will have with Will. They both want a connection between each other, but are too nervous. One of them might be planning to speak up. But everything about them is different. They are different from each other, and everybody else. What will happen in those three days? What will happen after those three days? What will happen... *dramatic pause* when disaster strikes? Will a disaster affect Nico and Will's relationship? What about when something that seems uncurable happens to Will? How can Nico and Will keep it together? Are they going to end up going their own separate ways? Or is somebody else going to try to control Will? (Dun dun duuuunnn) Unfortunately, I don't own any of these characters. If I did, that would be the best thing EVER, but I don't. They belong to Rick Riordan (That evil troll) and the amazing Nico di Angelo and Will Solace do belong to him. But I still hope you enjoy what I do with them. Nico felt like Icarus. Fly too close to the sun, and your wings will melt. Fly too close to the sea, your wings will grow heavy. Nico had already flown too close to the sea. He had allowed his infatuation with Percy to rule his life, his decisions, for far to many years. His wings had grown heavy, and he'd drowned. Icarus had made a mistake. He strayed too far, entranced by the kindness of the light. The dark wouldn't be as welcoming, ushering you in with no hesitancy and crossed arms. That didn't work out so well for Icarus. So, Nico would allow this filter, this light, to cover him, shroud him in kindness, and possibility, and warmth. But he would not cross further. He would not succumb to the light only to fall forever into darkness. He would do what Icarus couldn't. Nico di Angelo would not fly too close to the sun. Cover art by viria!Concluida
The Parts We Hide
Nico di Angelo has learned to survive by disappearing. He wears his shadows like armor and keeps everyone, even Will, at a safe distance. No one knows about the late-night panic attacks, the silent scars he leaves hidden beneath long sleeves, the feeling that he's always one step away from being left behind again. Not even Will - the boy he trusts most. Will Solace is sunshine to the world, a healer, a leader, the rock everyone leans on. But no one sees the cracks. Not the guilt of the siblings he couldn't save. Not the pressure to be "fine" all the time. And definitely not the way he pushes himself past breaking just to feel worthy of the love he gives so freely. They're in love, yes - but they're also in pain. "Are you going to heal me or what, Solace?" After the war with Gaea, Nico di Angelo is forced to spend three days in the infirmary with the annoyingly handsome son of Apollo. He's reluctant at first, but there really is no point in arguing with Will once he's set his mind to something. And what did Nico expect from his time there? Naps and not so crappy Jell-O? Well, it definitely wasn't noisy visitors, a spying Roman, awkward moments, and a friendship that just might be a little more. After a wild party on the last day of Junior year, Will Solace may have...accidentally...got way caught up in the alcohol. Although, he doesn't entirely remember it, and neither does Nico di Angelo-the annoying know-it-all who always seemed to be more focused on studying than partying. In fact, he didn't even want to go to the party, he was dragged to the place by his step-sister, and he's never been more annoyed by a jock than he has with Will. Plus, he's in love with the hopelessly beautiful Percy Jackson. The two would definitely prefer to go their separate ways-except for the fact that they both ended up at the same summer internship fighting for the same position.
