This story is a fanfiction taking place after the book The Man from Pomegranate Street. It follows the story of Flavia Gemina and Gaius Valerius Flaccus, a young newlywed couple from ancient Rome living in Ephesus.
Ever since I was a child, I've always loved The Roman Mysteries series by Caroline Lawrence. Even as a young adult, they are my comfort books. This is my interpretation of what would have happened between Flavia and Flaccus, two of my favourite characters.
