In a land where the good and the bad are separated into two kingdoms, they each have a one ruler. The light side, where sun meets its highest point and the weather is always warm and beautiful, is soon to be ruled by Delany daughter of the light queen. Her brown hair and bright green eyes don’t exactly match those of her mothers, but she says thats what makes her special. Soon it would be coronation day for Delany, but she had other plans. The dark side had called out to here more than once, and she went to it. Occasionally she would disappear into the forest and make her way to the thorn snicket’s of the dark side. Her purple cloak, the source of her magic, had been torn at the hem from an recent unfriendly encounter with the creatures of the dark side. Her mother warned her never to venture out there, but thats where she met him. In a family of five there isn't much room to decide who gets the throne. The dark side had come to a rather barbaric way of handling this situation. The 3 sons and two daughters were to fight to the death, to decide who would get the throne. Two survived this battle- Hunter and Elizabeth. Elizabeth never had to fight anyone to make it this far, she simply stepped down from the throne and said “I’m not up for this whole fighting thing, besides you’ll need me if all four die in battle and theres no one left.” That’s what Hunter admired most about his sibling. She was the only one he never really wanted to kill. Children of the dark side hold grudges for many years, even life times! Perhaps it is a terrible way to think of it, that if your sibling once did something you hated you could kill them later on in a battle for power, but the dark side messes with your mind. Common sense is what you lack when you cross over the border, and you get a sudden hankering for revenge.

"A single night can change the course of your entire life." . . . [Yandere Prince x Female Reader] Once upon a time, in the tiny kingdom of Vascini, there lived a beautiful girl by the name of Y/N Magnifico. Y/N was born into one of the five most influential families in the whole country, but as the years passed the cruelty of her father only grew. Eventually, Y/N was forced to become a maid in her own home, and serve her new stepmother, and stepsisters. Y/N had given up hope for ever escaping her wicked family, until one day, a kind and handsome stranger rescued her and brought her to the Castle Vascini. Once there she discovered that her rescuer was actually the Royal Tutor, who had been ordered to find the prince a bride in the next three months. Indebted to the man for saving her from her terrible situation, Y/N had no choice but to agree to the tutor's crazy plan to turn her into the perfect bride for the prince. But what if this plan ended up working a bit too well? Despair and hopelessness lay behind her, while trickery, danger, and obsession wait in masquerade for Y/N. Will she be able to survive this re-telling of an old fairytale and life long enough to find true love, or will something much more twisted take its place? ⚠WARNING⚠ there will be a few mature themes in the book including (but not limited to): -domestic violence and abuse -trickery -sexual references -violence -mental illness -politics -murder -manipulation -obsession -gore Reader discretion is advised. ~J.
