(Y/N) was just a simple 17 year old girl who had lost her parents when she was young. All she had left was her brother, and after he disappeared, she didn't really know what to do. She eventually got kicked out of the Galaxy Garrison and was all alone. That is, until she met him. She didn't think she'd fall for Keith, and she especially didn't think he'd fall for her. He was her best friend, and her brother's best friend at that. She never thought her life would be filled with such sadness, loneliness, happiness, love, friendship, or aliens. Especially not aliens. And definitely not giant robotic lions.
Preview: It's been a year. One year exactly since he disappeared on the Kerberos mission. Takashi was the only family I had left. Mom and dad were gone so it was either he takes care of me or he sticks me in a home somewhere. He chose to take care of me, and I couldn't have asked for a better brother.

Hey! This is my first story so sorry if it's a bit cheesy etc, but I just wanted to thank you for even giving it a shot! This is a Voltron Legendary Defender fanfiction where you and Keith get to hit it off. (I'll try to keep it as close to the actual story line of the show as possible, and I'm sorry that the chapters are a bit long. Trust me though, they're worth the read.) Enjoy!
