I do not own Fairy Tail or any of it's characters, this is purely for fun. You and Natsu have some history, you and your Grandfathers would go visit Igneel and Natsu. After Igneel left, Natsu came to live with you, but only for a short time, then you both left since you wanted to go with him, since he was your best friend and he probably challenging a dangerous animal, but as time goes on you feel for him even more

Lucy's breath hitched. "You saved mine, so I'll have to save yours. That's just how it works. So, naturally, I can't leave until that happens. I'm beholden to you." No way. This is so not true. It can't be! It's not supposed to be! A dragon prince beholden to a mere human? This never ends well. He gave her a sheepish smile, and Lucy couldn't help but wonder that he might actually be enjoying himself, despite what he might say. "..so if I put it in other words.." he began. "You're kinda stuck with me.." All rights for the characters and concept of Fairy Tail belong to Hiro Mashima. Story inspired from a prompt. The plot development is mine :). Cover by the awesome @Mishka-adv ❤️ This is my own idea. Similarity to any existing fanfiction out there is purely coincidental....
