*Click click click * the sound of heels going down the hall towards us. I stood up and leaned against the wall waiting, today is the day everything begins to change.
"32897." 
"Here. Waiting." I responded back, I keep my cool and calm exterior as I awaited the news.
"32897 you have been confirmed to be released. You will report in every day for the first three weeks, after that once a week, then once every couple months unless you relapse." The woman was the perfect example of a human robot, but then again if you're here then being a robot isn't a bad thing. The door opened, I grabbed my bag and followed the clicking sound to freedom. 
She stops, turns and hands me a envelope, I look at her, 
"Its everything you need." She walked off and that's when I realized that I'm just like her; a human not.All Rights Reserved

TEASER: I sit comfortably in my makeshift shelter, planning my next voyage to the surface. Faint footsteps above ground snap me out of my thought. I silently reached to my loaded gun, an SKO Shorty, and carefully pulled back the hammer. I silently crept up the unstable metal stairs, aiming my gun at the door at the top. The heavy metal door creaked. Something was behind it. The door pushes open to reveal a man. A human. He slowly reaches into his pocket and pulls out a crinkled yellow paper. I grab the note, while lowering my gun. I look up only to find the man gone. I unfold the paper. It's hard to make out the words in red ink with the dim lighting of the sewer tunnel. Eventually, I'm able to decipher, "34.0522' N, 118.2437' W". Coordinates. At the bottom of the note, scribbled out in black in, there's one phrase. "Code: 213" *Please note this story includes graphic depictions of blood and violence. This story may not be suitable for all audiences.

Merudoxin. Hearing that word should have made everyone grimace at the thought. It should have filled their body with pure anger to see women everywhere rave about the new drug; to see its name plastered all over the news. They told us it would make labour painless. Conceitedly, they signed their names. Everyone was hoping the medicine would work. It was to be a major science breakthrough! But no one ever promised that the babies wouldn't get hurt. No one seemed to care about the endangerment of their lives. That's where I came in. A voice for the voiceless. I would never let a life be wasted, even if my own life became at risk. **Sneak Preview** The doctor took the baby in his hands and took a look himself. I heard him take a sharp intake of breath. "Bloody hell!" he exclaimed. "What should we do with her?" the surgeon asked. "We're going to have to get rid of it" he announced simply. I whipped my head towards Arturo. I began getting up, trying to end this tyranny but Arturo held me back and that's when I remembered where we were, who I was carrying inside me. I cried quietly as I watched the woman scream and whimper as she realised the fate of her child. And the fate of herself. The surgeon wheeled her inside a door followed by the Doctor with the baby. "You can't do this to us! Give me my baby!" she sobbed helplessly until she said in a quiet voice, "Let me hold her once". The doors closed before I could see if they fulfilled her last wish.
