The year is 1957, and an eighteen year old Mr. Alfred F. Jones is to embark on an adventure to Paris France. It has been Alfred's dream to attend the prestigious art academy École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts, to study where his hero Claude Monet had studied previously.
When Alfred is given the chance to attend, against everyone in his small Kentucky town's expectations. He accepts and embarks on his journey to the city of his dreams. And what happens when a Japanese singer moves into his appartment?
