My Commander

James Edwards is a 21-year-old man, who is gay, and works in a cafe with a small section of books that is run by his surrogate aunt - Mae Ashton. Mae took James in when he was only 16-years-old, after his mum kicked him out of her home for admitting his sexuality. James is taking business classes at the local college to earn his degree to help run the cafe with Mae, and one day take the business over for her. James works with two of his best friends, Bailie Moore and Declan Eastland.
James meets and falls for a man named Justin Smith, a 33-years-old, gay man, and who is also a Commander in the U.S. Navy home on leave.
