Chosen

The Chosen Ball occurs every year, a chance for all werewolves to get together and choose a mate.

But there's a catch.

Choose wrong, and you could lose your wolf. And what is a werewolf without a wolf?

When James and Kathryn meets at The Chosen Ball, they are instantly attracted to each other. But as tradition goes, they have to wait three weeks until after the next full moon to go on a run together in wolf form, and to see if their wolves accept each other.

If the run is successful, they can be mates. If not, they lose their very being.
