Sir Alfred Ayles was known for many things. Lady Arabella Hemmington was a fulfilled woman with nothing to lose. And as she was soon to be married off to Lord Fenworth, a wealthy earl, her life was as hopeful as she wished for it to be and she had nothing to complain about...except that she had absolutely nothing to complain about. Not sure whether she really loved Lord Fenworth, it scared her to enter a marriage without the blanket of love to cover her, and Arabella constantly was in apprehension of the fact that her life was going to change.

But along the lines of her fate, the one thing that she hated the most was the fact that life had brought her and Alfred Ayles, her worst nemesis together before her marriage and she was expected to spend time with him without having to rip his head off.
