The Remnants - the physical manifestations of all values in this world. Be it loyalty, virtue, righteousness - they're all tied to the Remnants. And if we lose them, we lose these within ourselves.
Ever wondered what it would be like to watch the world burn?
Well, if I don't find them soon enough - I'll burn before the world can.
They say I've stolen the Remnants? What blasphemy, I can barely remember yesterday's lunch. In fact, I can't remember much of my recent past.
As much as I hate running, I'm now in a race: they've set the path for my execution and the only thing that can stop it is proving my innocence, or at least restoring the Remnants for starters.
I don't particularly want to die, so I'll fight. Half-baked memories, a messy assortment of weapons and a ragtag group of friends should do the trick, right?
