I had spent most of the summer dreading this moment, my first day back at school, my final year. Pressure was now at an all time high to succeed, to get into university, to make my parents proud. But none of that was as daunting as one thing... I was Olivia, a fifteen-year-old girl who had just discovered that I liked girls. It was a realisation that had both terrified and excited me equally. Luckily, everyone I knew had taken it quite well, except for maybe my younger sister, who had made it clear that she didn't get it. It was a new school year, and I had hope that I could just blend in like I always had. But little did I know, this year would challenge me like no other, all because of the new girl, her name was Skylar... ............ This story contains both bad language and mentions of death, if any of this affects you, do not read.
