In a society where kids are slaves and can't talk nor show emotion and adults are soldiers to a dictator, Ari, a 16 year old girl has had her whole life striped away from her. Her mother died. Her father left. She was taken from her little sister. One day she meets a boy, and although they can't talk to each other, she feels her life change.
