An Ineligible Lady

While Miss Diana Ashbrooke has few thoughts of marrying at present, her mother has other ideas. After her eldest's surprisingly advantageous marriage, Lady Ashbrooke is intent on securing another such match for her second daughter. Intent on keeping her mother, and prospective suitors, at bay, Diana can't help but wish that she could marry for love rather than money.

Richard Devereux had little desire to inherit his father's title, however after the suspicious death of his older brother, he is now the new Earl of Montgomery.
