"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comforts and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy." - Martin Luther King, Jr. Have you ever wondered if your entire life had been planned out from the moment you were born? That every single incident that ever happens throughout your life, happens for a reason? I have learnt that you have to go through hell to get to heaven. (Basically, you go through tough times for a great reward.) It may not be today, or tomorrow, or even the next day. But it most certainly will come, if you keep pushing through it all. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Sasha Wilson is your ordinary teenage girl, at least on the outside. On the inside, she is a tortured, broken and vulnerable little girl. Sasha has been a victim of bullying for almost all of her schooling years. An important part of her life is friendship. As a child, she only had two friends, Lavender Ross and Taylor Canniff. But as the years went on, Taylor became more distant from Sasha and Lavender, and eventually he lost all contact with them. Until an incident reunites them, for the better? Or for the worse?

Brooklyn goes to middle school. She thinks having a crush on some guy seems easy but stupid. She has had a crush on Jack Palmer for a few years now. Though, she doesn't really know love. Each day seems to be it's usual, until he offers to take her to a party. The classic mean girls still exist. At Brooklyn's school that title belongs to Sasha Evans. She has been the girl that shows up followed by trouble at it's least expected. After awhile they don't know what else to expect. Trying to live the most of your middle school year is a pain when you are someone else's piece in their fun. Brooklyn meets old friends and new people which can bring struggles. She would have never thought being a middle scholar could be so hard. She now knows she has thought wrong. Update: I write this a while ago and I wish I would've put more thought into it. *sigh*
