There are three main things that, currently, get under Rose Knight's skin.
Number one, her sister is getting married to her ex-boyfriend.
Number two, her relationship with her mom is tolerable--at best.
And number three, she's been sleeping with the man who she claims, time and time again, she cannot stand. A man who also happens to be her co-worker.
Everything else, though, is pretty much perfect.
Until her mom walks into her apartment and catches Elliott Maxwell about to leave Rose's apartment and mistakes him for Rose's boyfriend and, well, with her relationship with her mom already so volatile, Rose does the stupid thing and goes along with it. She had no idea it would turn into her mother inviting Elliott to their home in New Jersey for Rose's sister's wedding weekend.
But Elliott's got enough baggage of his own to want to be around Rose's family--or attend a wedding.
And yet, Rose somehow talks him into pretending to be her boyfriend for the weekend.
And yet, Elliott finds himself agreeing.
And yet, despite their dislike for one another, the weekend suddenly becomes one neither of them will be able to shake off.

The Best Kind of Betrayal

35 parts Complete

It's the first day of June's senior year and everything is already going wrong. Her first boyfriend and supposedly love of her life dumps her for someone else, her heart is broken and feels like it won't ever heal again and her best friend makes her join the most unnecessary club on earth to help her find new friends she most definitely does not need. Still. New chances are for new beginnings, right? Instead of falling into a deep dark pit of self pity (however tempting that may sound), all of this betrayal ends up leading her to the best friends she's ever had and the most exciting school year of her life. Oh - and a whole new fake boyfriend, to get some revenge on that idiot who dumped her. And who knows. Maybe even more.
