It was 1978, Mindy McCann was rolling into her second year in college. Living by herself in a very small apartment between Los Angeles and the beach.

Trying her best to keep her current job at a clothing store at the mall. College was running smoothly, after getting used to it.

After meeting a guy in the same college as her, she decides to aim for him since it's been long a time since not being in a relationship, she noticed that she may have time to be available for him.
