Forbidden is a part of a three part series, about Aly Markovic, she's an American student struggling with life. Not knowing where she fits in, like any teenager would question. Sick of up rooting and moving all the time, the family arrive in Portland. Aly isn't a social butterfly, and doesn't make many friends. Where as her bubbly, younger sister Daisy fits right in with the popular crowds, also a cheerleader. Aly befriends a male, who also isn't a social butterfly from what she can tell from first appearances, his name, Marcus. Whom has a secret life, one he doesn't wish to share with Aly if he can help it. Aly has these weird dreams, which are becoming very realistic to the point she wakes up, in pools of sweat and has flash backs in reality. Do they mean anything? or is she going insane?

Savannah Carter has spent years ignoring Jaxon Reed. As her brother's best friend and the school's star basketball player, he's the definition of off-limits. Annoying, cocky, and frustratingly good-looking, Jaxon is the one guy she refuses to fall for-no matter how much he gets under her skin. But when Jaxon moves into her house for the summer, avoiding him becomes impossible. Late-night encounters in the kitchen, accidental touches that linger too long, and the undeniable electricity between them make it harder and harder to pretend she doesn't feel something. Jaxon knows he shouldn't cross the line. Ethan has been his best friend since they were kids, and Savannah is strictly hands-off. But the more time they spend together, the harder it is to resist her sharp wit, fierce determination, and the way she challenges him like no one else ever has. As the heat of summer intensifies, so does the tension between them. But when a single moment threatens to ruin everything-her trust, her brother's friendship, and Jaxon's future-Savannah has to decide if risking it all for love is worth the consequences. Because some games are meant to be played. And some lines are meant to be crossed.
