Imagine going through the exact same routine over and over again, just trying to survive hell (Little Town High School) and eagerly awaiting an acceptance letter to a university so far away that you don't ever have to think about Little Town again.
It's boring, nothing ever happens in Little Town - that is until you're minding your business and in the corner of your eyes you see those pair of eyes you thought you would never see again. But this time, they're different. They hold a mystery and a darker pain that you thought couldn't exist. You thought it was your imagination so you go on with your day until you see them again, and this time they're staring right at you.
You thought you can run from it, right? You thought you can cling onto your hatred long enough for that ghost to go away and never change you...right? Wrong! I thought I could just run away and ignore all my problems, until the biggest problem of all, Dean Ryder comes sliming back into my life pulling me into a never ending game.
