Mikasa thought the hole in her heart from Eren's rejection would never heal; however she had plenty of work that would keep her mind busy.
After discovering the ugly truth of the outside world, The Scout regiment is busier than ever setting up a new base, and training new scouts. With the new government in control, and the Scouting regiment now being the most powerful Branch in the military; the expectations for trainees is high.
Mikasa herself has been assigned to work under Captain Levi to train the scouts to the new standard. However she soon discovers herself underneath him in ways that don't correlate with rank.
