Claire Brantley and the Blind Wolf

After mysterious fires take place, little Claire Brantley is left orphaned; before her godmother, Karolina Richardson, took her in. As the young girls gets older, she notices Shadow like creatures watching her, Karolina only told her it was all in her 5 year old head though.
But after getting unexpected visitors from across the country, Claire learns that everything she saw as a child wasn't her imagination; and the mysterious and cool man who she talked with privately knows something about her parents whom she never knew. The shadows were real. And more than that, Karolina had been lying to her about who she was for years, and was hiding her true nature, as a werewolf. Now attending Cross Nations Academy on the border of Maine and Wolfheart National Park; Claire must push past all the idiots that roam this elitist school, get good grades, figure stuff about her true nature, make friends, deal with boy troubles, and get all the information as she can about the Brantley family.
