Bygone

A destiny isn't defined by chance but by action. A world filled with the treasure of magic, technology and rich history has been long divided in an irreparable half with three souls charged with the potent energy of the Between's hosting being, the Tree of Silverleaf, every hundred years arriving in an attempt to restore that
balance in the Between; a wondrous world threatened with darkness.

Alike everyone else, Marcus is an ordinary boy with said ordinary problems.. vividly unfit for the role of a warrior destined to overcome the darkness enshrouding the Between. But when called to duty, he commits with false valiance to what the Custodes Elementis truly stood for.. hoping that this mirror into his own written stories will finally allow him to alter the reality he despises living in.

Our motivated warrior is followed by a pair of unlikely acquaintances that make up the trinity that are the Chosen of the modern world.

Chloe; an individual of kindheartedness and amity is thankfully displaced from the reality she's conflicted in having to survive in, being forced to become an Elemental soldier alike her companions. But Chloe isn't the only girl torn between her reality and her fantasy: Jaclyn herself had been capable and resilient towards most occasions, now having to be forced into what she either believed to be right to her or right for the world.

The shadow of the Odium plague the lands of the Between every day that passes. Darkness continues to veil the fields of the once beautiful civilization that had been built from harmony; a civilization shattered through greed. As our triad makes their mark, they begin to uproot a secret not just of the Between, but between themselves. The world's end had been imminent, and Marcus is forced to pick a side; Himself, or a dying world.

Will he throw everything that he stood for just for a perfect world -- or stand fixed in the face of great power and use it for good?
