Living on the small island Clorinda off the coast of Australia, the three bestest friends Aileen, Kira and Flora make a living from their very successful business Clorinda Sea Side Cafe.
Living a very dull and consistent life, the three friends decide they can do so much more than just continue to run the cafe. So what not a better idea than to go to college? After getting accepted into Clorinda University, the three friends lives completely change. Pulled apart by their new lives with new crowds. Flora and Kira are quick to make friends, but Aileen is a little apprehensive about their new choice of friends.
The friends get invited to a popular girls party on the board walk. Invited by the new crowd of Flora and Kira's new friends that Aileen hates so much. Aileen and the popular girl get off on the wrong foot. A fight brakes out, sending Aileen tumbling over the board walk railings and onto the jagged rocks below. Unaware of Aileens disappearance, she was left to the dark abyss of the ocean.
Groggy and in a daze, Aileen is saved by a beautiful creature from a dream. Aileen awakens washed up on the beach, the remnants of a haunting dream of a beautiful creature saving her.
Quickly, Aileen realizes it's not just a dream and desperately seeks for help as she begins to change. change in ways that don't seem humanly possible. Changing into something from her dreams that night.
