Alex Cruz is a witty sophomore forced to move to a small town, Beacon Hills. Besides starting the school year late, she has another problem. Keeping her secret safe, she is no normal teenage girl, she is a werewolf. To be exact she is a born werewolf from a long lineage. For various reasons, Alex wasn't safe in her hometown anymore. So when her parents heard whispers of a Hale becoming Alpha, they decided to move. Now she has to adapt to her new environment and the monthly dangers that Beacon Hills offers. Along the way she befriends two goons, Scott and Stiles. Maybe even gets in a relationship with a gloomy werewolf.

She becomes friends with her son Scott and his best friend Stiles. All she wants to do is end the pain and the horrible memories. But what happens when she meets Derek Hale? Will they be more than friends? The first thing he noticed about her was her eyes full of pain, he knew he had to protect her from the world.
