Emmeline Garroway is the daughter of Luke, a former Shadowhunter who turned into a werewolf. She's been separated from the Shadow world for her whole life, kept hidden away from everyone, at least that's what her mother thinks, and no one else knows that she exists. 

In fact, Luke raised her as a Shadowhunter and her body is covered in runes. She goes around at night and solves the problems of the Clave before they notice them. 

Then a new problem shows up. One called Jace Wayland.
