Isla Ambrosius has always grown up knowing that she wasn't apart of the Ambrosius family. She was only a young girl when her family was attacked at their manor by a power-hungry, dark wizard and didn't remember the attack that well. She could only remember the flames and the leaving with her carer, who was now her adoptive mother.

Hunith Ambrosius gladly took the young 5 year old in, saving the golden ring and letter from her parents that held the Mortcombe seal for when the time was right to give it to the young girl.
