Aurora Tressis is a young girl who is an outcast in her village. She differs from the other girls in her village, because she is not interested in "girly" things. She is interested in magic and fighting. Her biggest dream is to become a Dragon Rider, and not just any Dragon Rider, but the Supreme Dragon Rider, who is the head of the order. However, in order to do that Aurora must do the unthinkable, become the first female rider. Join Aurora as she arrives at The Academy, where the Riders are trained. Here she  will she uncover secrets that were best left buried and where she will learn a war is about to break out.
