Lady Luck (Sequel to Imperfect Date)

9 parts Ongoing

California Life. Just when everyone thought Dave left forever, Buck finds a way to get him repaired. However, it comes to a point where due to a side effect Dave would suffer from after his repair process, both he and Buck are exiled from their company and their hometown entirely. They end up working for their competitor company in California, which they struggle to adapt to, and much to Buck's dismay, he has to protect his best friend from every Toon possible. Desert Rose. Into Hurricane's life comes two new employees that start working in the same company she works. She learns about Dave's initial attraction to her but doesn't seem too interested, and starts avoiding Dave completely after finding out he used to be a Bossbot at his old company to dodge thoughts of past trauma. She's not playing hard to get, she's simply hard to love. Lady Luck. Despite wrongly timed love, Dave is genuinely fascinated by Hurricane due to how different she is. She's the only Toon employee at the company, she has a tragic past and has suffered issues with the Bossbot department at her old company, and she fears rejection in the worst ways possible. Dave soon realizes he doesn't just want to support her, he needs to support her... while also protecting his friendship with Buck.
