Ryouri Hantaro is a young man who has suffered a lot in life: since he was born his parents abandoned him, he went from house to house without anyone loving him and at the age of 14 he was placed in a juvenile facility for almost killing one of his classmates at the orphanage, where he learns to transform his character and become a better person. Years later, once he gets out, he is forced to work in a mysterious organization controlled by his biological father, Renya Karasuma, who all his life was manipulating his destiny to achieve a greater goal.
Destroyed by the news, Ryouri decides to end his suffering by throwing himself off the balcony of the laboratory terrace, but before he can do so, a girl saves him. Who is this girl and what importance will she have for Ryouri in the future?
Years later, a mysterious boy appears out of nowhere, in Professor Agase's house with valuable information about the organization of the men in black and some data about the cure for APTX. The strange thing is that Ai begins to act in a hostile way and against the boy.
