Three friends are chilling when a spontaneous zombie-apocalypse strikes their town. Now on the run they are completely disoriented. What the hell can they do, who is safe and who isn't? They spend their days living on the edge. But they still hope for things to get better. And things do. Until night falls...

--So this whole story is sort of another test (like my other story "Why Am I So Weird?"). This time I am experimenting on how good I can write a First Draft with no editing. Yup these chapters are completely raw and unedited, so don't be dissapointed if you were expecting a well orchestrated writing-piece. I'm not (I find these random tests I do invigorating and fun), with every test I do it allows me to practice another story idea I otherwise would never have done. So yeah...enjoy!--

Back by popular request! The 2017 rough draft of The Virus Within! (Caution: Contains massive plotholes that were fixed in the polished The Virus Within Series. Grammar issues are present, particularly missing commas.) What do you do when you are one of the infected? The virus in my blood is trying to steal my humanity. It alters my very thoughts and reactions. It taunts me by tempting me with desires that it planted in my brain. These bloodthirsty desires would lead to my demise if I ever gave in. I have more in common with the zombies than with humans at this point. Even the fallen zombies accept me as one of their own. Blood is required to retain my grip on sanity, but the sweet-smelling blood from humans is a short path to madness. Human blood is to be avoided at all costs. Humankind around the world was driven close to extinction by the sudden appearance of the zombies, yet small groups of survivors constantly manage to appear and put my control to the test. -------------------------- This is a standalone zombie book. It has nothing to do with A Different Virus. I wanted to try a book with an easily irritated main character and a nutcase secondary character. This book has a slightly darker outlook at the beginning than my usual stories, but it has some humor further along. Definitely not a horror story, although it has its share of action. 4 updates a week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday! Copyright April 2017. All Rights Reserved. As you begin to read this, you start to remember. That fateful day, you may have been eating dinner, on your phone, coming home from work or school, or watching TV, when the Emergency Broadcast System emerged on every media outlet available. "THIS IS NOT A TEST," the screen read. "Lock every entrance, gather necessities, DO NOT go outside, and remain calm. Further instructions will soon follow." Zombies are a fickle creature; they're always changing. These zombies... They're unlike anything you've ever seen. The reality of having seen something that gruesome makes your heart race again. You remember the way they looked at first and having to study them to keep your spot at the top of the chain. You look around. You've established yourself again, reading a book you found to kill some time. Making the zombie apocalypse, simply something that you've experienced, among many other things. Now, let's get to that book! October 30, 2015, 7:58 p.m. That's when it all began for everyone, the awful sounds of the emergency alarms filling the air with panic. No one had a certain plan, just hopes for the best and quick wits. Robert Duncan was on a farm where he worked, fixing machines. His regular life would instantly change, and the world would flip on itself. The things he would do, the people he would meet, and the items he would obtain were not in his imagination. This is his story, just as you would have one, and what became of him...

(Sequel to Don't Talk To Strangers) It's been a couple months since the zombies had vanished. No more zombies. No more killings. And no more bad people. So they thought... Life is good, until something seems- out of place. Maybe it's a change in the weather or thickness of the air. Or it could be the electronic buzzing noise keeping them awake at night. The gang is suspicious, but nothing peaks their interests until one of them comes home infected. It's only a matter of time until the infection spreads around the rest of their body. It's a race against the clock to help them survive. Because the friends can't part with their own. They're family. And losing another person amongst the world is too much to handle. But if adding in revengeful ex-friends, hot summers, babies AND more zombies to the mix is what it takes to finally make these kids give up, congratulations. You got your wish. Not everyone is as strong as they want to be. Will they make it or break it?
