The Dawn of X has arrived in the Marvel Universe. Xavier and his allies have founded the new mutant nation of Krakoa, promising a safe and supportive home for all mutants no matter who they are of their past crimes. Mutants have flocked to this new paradise, glad to free themselves of the hateful world they once lived in. Yet not all mutants are so eager to join this new nation, including the mercenary 'Darktruth'. But now a job has arrived at his door that will lead him to Krakoa, and force him to make a decision about what his future is going to be. Note- This is a new story starting off during the current 'Dawn of X' in the X-Men section of Marvel comics using some of my original characters. This is essentially a continuation of of fan-fiction I wrote on the old Marvel boards and more recently the Mickey's Tavern site, the latter where I've been posting this so far. It's a bit of a soft reboot, given some of these characters were left off in places that created problems for this story. I'll do my best to reintroduce all of my characters, and hopefully as I do I answer any questions for people who may have read my fan-fics before. This is an evolving story, meant for me to explore different ideas that are playing on my mind, particularly that grow from reading the comics. If this causes any inconsistencies as it goes (this is probably an ongoing story, with no set ending yet) I apologize, but will do my best to try and avoid that. Also this story will contain mature themes and events. I can't say exactly what it will contain so will give a general trigger warning, with specific ones on issues that dive into particular things. I just know I want to write a more raw story in the Marvel U, perhaps diving into things the comics can only touch upon due to their rating. Will try to update every two weeks or so, depending on the rest of my life. Maybe more frequently to start to catch up closer to where I've written.Complete

**CURRENTLY WORKING ON AN EDIT OF THIS*** Ziva Ner is a mutant trying to live her life under the radar, but her simple life is ruined when she's hauled off to Xavier's School for Gifted Children. It takes her only moments to figure out her fellow students are a bit off the wall. Before she knows it, she and her new friends are pulled into a fight against an evil plot that may or may not succeed. All of it depends on how stupid evil is on that particular day. When I was eight I found out that the strange markings on my back were actually wings. When I was sixteen I met Charles Xavier and that's when everything changed. I found out who I was. I am a mutant and I have done so many things you would never even dream of doing. I have fought for my rights and seen so much blood in the process. So many died for our cause and so many more will. And this is why I have wrote this book, I am going to stop this war and end our fighting once and for all. I'm even going to be using my favourite hobbies to do so. (Wolverine's daughter fanfic) Alone in a mall parking lot, a seven year old girl catches her breath from running from her home as a special ops team had just tried to take her away. Her mother told her to run as she protected her, risking her life as she did so. As the little girl wandered the city, she stumbles across a man known as Michael Stryker. After years with Stryker and her memory of everything before she met him erased, she manages to escape, in the process-she comes across the X-Men and a mutant who shares more than just a similar mutation. (WARNING. Mentions of scars as well as slight mentions of mental illness and trauma, and obviously violence.) I don't own any of the Marvel characters.
