Resources are dwindling, and the Earthen Society is hiding a multitude of secrets under a cover of tyranny. Eighteen-year-old Elena wants nothing to do with it. But after she and her brother accidentally uncover a dangerous secret, they're on the run. Her brother is kidnapped, and Elena takes action. Hunted by lapdogs of the Pioneers, she is constantly hunted and in search of a solution to save her brother, and ultimately, the rest of mankind.
