It's been 11 years since Percy and Annabeth decided to settle down, they had it rough with their battle and just wanting peace, and now they have it, they also have a young child , Samantha. All they ever wanted was to settle down and live a normal life and now they don't know what to do, maybe they weren't meant to have a normal life, it's apparent to Percy and Annabeth now that their child might have to carry their burden.
As Samantha try's to live a normal life in school, she's beginning to notice, weird happenings. Like when she was outside the cafeteria and someone bumped into her and a water fountain exploded, or when in class she the knows the answer to everything without studying. At first she thinks it great, but then the realization sets in that maybe her parents know something, when she explains to them, they looked worried. But why?

What they don't know, is that another mysterious young demigod was also assigned to this quest. Hali Peterson. Daughter of Poseidon, born in 1937, dropped in the Lotus Casino at age 14, till her father pulled her out in the middle of the Giant War, in hopes to gain some more power in the underwater battle that raging at his palace. Now it was the next summer, and 15 year old Hali was living the dream in Southern California, occasionally going on different quests for her father.
