THE SECOND INSTALLMENT IN THE DIANA MONTGOMERY SERIES
She was the calm. He was the storm. Wherever one went, the other followed.
In Narnia, three years had passed since the Pevensies had left the second time. In that time King Caspian X and Diana Montgomery had brought peace across Narnia. There were no wars, no threats of invasion. Everything was going well. Narnia's next golden age had begun.
With that, Caspian, Diana, and a few Narnian friends set off to find the seven lords of Telmar who had disappeared under the reign of Caspian's father. Their ship, the Dawn Treader, takes them across the Great Eastern Ocean.
Along the way, they pick up King Edmund the Just, Queen Lucy the Valiant, and their cousin Eustace who was very sure that everyone was beyond insane. Except, Aslan had told Diana that Edmund and Lucy would return when Narnia needed them again, and everything had been going smoother than it ever had before.
So the real question was, what did Diana not know? And why was the threat so great that Narnia had called the Pevensie siblings back on it's own?

Diana Montgomery waited patiently for the day her royal friends would come back to Narnia. The girl was immortal, a gift bestowed upon her by Aslan himself. Though she saw it as more of a curse. She would outlive all her friends. She would be labeled a freak. But Narnia was hers to protect while the High Kings and Queens were gone. One day after school, the Pevensie siblings find themselves back in Narnia, but one thousand and three hundred years later. All that they know is gone until they stumble across Diana who has let Prince Caspian take charge of the Narnian forces to defeat the Telmarines and restore Narnia to its former glory. Disclaimer: I don't own any of this except for my OC Set in Prince Caspian This is heavily based off of the movies. There will be dialogue from The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian and the plot of the book follows the plot of the movie with my own little twists. Side note: for story purposes, the characters ages have been upped slightly to fit with my plot. It's been a year since Isabell and the Pevensies returned to England. And nearly a year since the Pevensies left the manor. For a year, Isabell has been alone in the manor, writing to her friends. She misses Narnia as much as she misses the Pevensies. The ring that hangs around her neck serves as a reminder of her life as Queen of Narnia. When Isabell is sent to school in the city, she had set up plans to reunite with the Pevensies. Swiftly after reuniting, the Kings and Queens of old are called back to Narnia. Things are different this time though. It's been 1,300 years in Narnia. They all feel a sense of guilt for leaving Narnia only for it to be invaded. Isabell struggles to call on and harness the fire inside of herself. She has to find a new part of herself she hadn't known about. But it's not their own struggles that plague them. A new ally is presented to them, the heir to the throne of Telmar. Only he's not fighting for Telmar, he's fighting for the Narnians, to give them back what his ancestors stole from them. Tensions are clear between the High King and the Telmarine Prince from the start, causing them to butt heads on what they think is right. Narnia is not the same as how they left it. Around a year after they have returned from Narnia Edmund falls ill and the doctors believe they cannot save them. A message from Aslan reaches the Pevensies; they can save Edmund if they go to Narnia, for the illness will not exist in that world.
